Living the high (way) life....

The Milwaukee Art Museum's famous roof is truly a beautiful sight.
The wide view was a little impeded by the Biffies, but at least they were a lovely shade of blue...
Sophie met her match over a gas station in the middle of..... dang, where WAS that?? Where do they stick giant giraffes on top of gas stations?
Camping in Sun Valley was a highlight of the year. Here's our river fridge. Andy Goldsworthy, eat your heart out. This installation was beautiful, and functional!
We had a little discussion about division of labor one evening, when all the guys went out wood gathering....
And the gals prepared food....
But when the fruits of our labors and theirs joined together in a sizzling bar-b-cue, we could see (and taste) that it was all good.

The next night Chris and I went and fetched wood in my mini-van, and the boys cooked buffalo burgers..... and that was good too.

Another highlight of Sun Valley was hanging out and laughing hard with Barbara Kline, who makes Ketchum home.
More pics and stories from the road......
